To protect all our health, we will be enforcing the timely and strict implementation of the necessary hygiene regulations. Latest Covid-19 information

In preparation for the coming winter season, Snowsport Austria has developed a comprehensive safety concept for Covid-19, together with Prof Cornelia Lass- Flörl (Director, Institute of Hygiene and Medical Microbiology at the University of Innsbruck). The measures taken by Top Schischule Kaunertal-Fendels are subject to constant evaluation and adjustment in accordance with the official guidelines and the regulations of its partners, as well as planners, special interest groups and medical advisors. In order to be able to protect all our health, appropriate measures and precautions must be taken.

Top Schischule Kaunertal-Fendels measures and code of conduct

Online booking

Wherever possible, skiing and snowboarding lessons should be booked online.

Ski school meeting points

The vast glacial area at the Kaunertal Glacier provides the optimum conditions for the safe and orderly allocation of groups at the ski school meeting point.

In the Fendels ski area, the meeting points will be more widely spaced out, in order to avoid large gatherings.

Face coverings and hand hygiene

In the ski school office at the Kaunertal Glacier and in the Fendels ski area, staff and pupils aged six and over are advised to wear a face covering, regardless of the legal requirements. They are also advised to use hand sanitiser when entering and leaving the premises. This will allow us to protect each other. All points of sale are fitted with screens.

Face coverings must also be worn at the meeting points and wherever it is impossible to maintain a distance of at least 1.5 metres.

Within ski school groups, a face covering must also be worn as soon as a distance of 1.5 metres can no longer be guaranteed.

Group sizes and lesson times

Group sizes will be adjusted

  • Lesson times at the Kaunertal Glacier: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 1:15 – 3:15 pm
  • Lesson times at Fendels: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and 1:30 – 3:30 pm

Wherever possible, breaks during lessons will be avoided, especially indoors.

Lunch breaks and children’s meals

In the Fendels ski area, the lunch break will be extended to 1.5 hours, allowing all participants more time for their midday meal or to eat in their accommodation. The lunch break at the Kaunertal Glacier will be unchanged.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide children’s meals.
